Paul’s Even More Forgotten ’90s

This is the follow up to Paul’s Forgotten ’90s and Paul’s More Forgotten ’90s and is the final set of mixes from my Forgotten project which has been running since 11 May 2020. 10 series, 50 playlists, 1,000 tracks. Part 1 takes a heady trawl through baggy’s back pages. Most of these records were funded by the ESF grant and purchased from KG Discs in either Barronstrand Street or Lisduggan Shopping Centre. The second instalment focuses on some of my favourite beat bangers of the era while Part 3 is a sedate Q-inspired mostly rock set from the early ’90s. It’s then time to go all new age and moody before I wrap up with a John Peel-inspired indie playlist from the latter half of the decade, many of which featured on my own top 50s of those years. The photograph is another birthday – this time it’s my 21st – our dining room, January 1993. I dedicate all of these mixes to my parents.
