Paul’s More Forgotten ’80s

I started working on the follow up to Paul’s Forgotten ’80s immediately after uploading the final part. Whereas the first project focused on top 20 hits, this one concentrates on singles that peaked between 21 and 40 on the UK chart. And in a rather radical change, I have decided to create it on Spotify rather than Mixcloud. This method of delivery brings its own restrictions; some tracks are not available in their single versions – or in some instances, not all all. However I was surprised to note that the bulk of what I wanted was on Spotify. As before, the reveal will be in weekly parts. The above photo is me checking out the MV Ranga shipwreck on the Dingle Peninsula, August 1984, on the very same day that I purchased Now That’s What I Call Music 3 from a Killarney record shop.
