Paul’s Forgotten ’70s

Here is my first excursion into the 1970s. Part 1 is primarily glam rock with a Bowie & related finale. Part 2 concentrates on novelty songs, television themes and a couple from the movies. The third instalment is a mix of pop and rock, many of them juggernauts while Part 4 concentrates on funk and disco. Lastly I look at the punk & ska era from the end of the decade. The photograph dates from early December 1979; a visit to Santa Claus who was in residence at Todd’s department store in Limerick. The final year of belief.
