Paul’s More Forgotten ’90s

This is the follow-up to Paul’s Forgotten ’90s and was compiled in May of this year. As is now customary, each playlist is loosely themed with the first one focusing on a mix of pop and rock icons. I really hope you dig the mini PSB sequence. Part 2 concentrates on the alternative country phenomenon that dominated the latter part of the decade. Meanwhile the third instalment focuses on Irish rock, running from 1990-1997 which coincides with the staging of Féile. For Part 4 – the dance element – I’ve gone back to the ’80s for the opening quartet while later on it’s all about trip hop. The final playlist is one of two halves; some Madchester mop-ups and mop tops leading into a mini Britpop alternative circuit.
