If you’ve read this far, you deserve to be let in on these.

1 – Being at a club night (either as a punter or a DJ) where one of the other DJs plays the “wrong version” of a track. Example someone dropping the Push mix of When Will I Be Famous instead of the single edit. Often done when the DJ is relying on CDRs or downloaded tracks for their set.

2 – When one of my fellow DJs asks me to bring or burn a track for them so they can play it. I only spin stuff from my own collection. If it’s not there, I’ll buy or source a copy – what I won’t do is ask somebody for a lend of theirs.

3 – Other DJs not turning up in time for their slot. This is really unfair and has a knock-on effect on everybody else.
