Paul’s Still More Forgotten ’80s

Unlike Paul’s Forgotten ’80s (1-20), Paul’s More Forgotten ’80s (21-40) and Paul’s Even More Forgotten ’80s (41-100), this fourth set of mixes has no chart placing restrictions. So it’s quite a patchwork with Part 1 focusing on pop and rock from those important years 1984-1987 while Part 2 mostly plays like a compilation my Mam would love, a real Sunday afternoon with the papers in the Good Room vibe. The third bunch is a disparate group of big names, many US while Part 4 concentrates on the last days of disco via R&B and soul jams. We conclude with an indie & alternative mix that signs off with a local twist. Finally, the photo was taken onboard HMS Belfast, 31 May 1984 – we visited it on our five day school tour to London.
